Breakcore is a genre of electronic music that emerged from other genres such as Jungle, Drum and Bass and IDM somewhere in the late 1990s. It is primarily defined by the progression and structure of drum breaks that get re-arranged and experimented on with various complex or harsh ways throughout a song.
